What airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into the Cancún airport, which is ~35 minutes to the Fairmont Mayakoba. Once you’ve booked your flight, you can share details in the form here. From there, we’ll help coordinate transportation.

Can I extend the room block rate?

Yes! We would love for you to make this weekend a longer vacation. The room rate at the Fairmont is available starting on Tuesday and through the following Tuesday.

What can I do around Riviera Maya?

If you’d like to venture out of the hotel, we recommend exploring the cenotes or heading to Quinta Avenida. Within the Mayakoba complex, there are several other hotels with amazing restaurants. We recommend Saffron at Banyan Tree and Casa del Lago at the Rosewood. The Fairmont can help you organize any outings or reservations.

What will the weather be like?

December in Riviera Maya is warm, with daytime temperatures around 75–82°F (24–28°C) and cooler evenings. While rain is rare this time of year, we still recommend packing a light layer or shawl for breezy nights on the beach.

Where will the events take place?

The Welcome Party at the Fairmont will be in a grassy courtyard. On Saturday, the ceremony will also be in a grassy courtyard. Cocktail hour and the reception will be on the beach in a tent with flooring.
